We are asked in this appeal to determine whether a delay of two years and eleven months between conviction and imposition of sentence is a denial of appellant's right to a speedy trial under the Sixth Amendment to the United States Constitution or a violation of due process under the Fourteenth Amendment of the United States Constitution.
