The issue on appeal is whether the trial court erred in exercising subject matter jurisdiction to modify the Georgia custody decree granting custody to plaintiff pursuant to North Carolina's version of the Uniform Child Custody Jurisdiction Act (UCCJA), N.C.Gen.Stat. §§ 50A-1 to -25 (1989).
