Between December 30, 1986, and January 19, 1987, four women were attacked and stabbed while walking in Quincy and Milton. A jury found the defendant guilty on eight indictments charging him, as to each of the victims, with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, a knife, and assault with intent to murder.
