O'CONNELL, J.

The defendant appeals from the judgment of the trial court opening and modifying on the ground of fraud an earlier judgment dissolving the marriage of the parties. The dispositive issue is whether the plaintiff failed to make a diligent effort to discover the fraud.1 We reverse.
