Plaintiffs, Joseph Waterman et al. (hereinafter "plaintiff"), appeal the judgments of the Franklin County Common Pleas Court granting defendants' motions for summary judgment. In case No. 89AP-672, plaintiff raises the following assignments of error:

"I. The trial court abused its discretion in consolidating this case with case No. 86CV-12-7975, requesting damages for breach of contract, and with case No. 87CV-04-2331, challenging the rejection...
