Defendants Eric Hessler and Jerome Laviolette were charged by bill of information on April 17, 1989 with malfeasance in office in violation of La.R.S. 14:134. Defendants pleaded not guilty and filed a bill of particulars. After the State answered the bill of particulars, defendants moved to quash the bill of information.
