On March 15, 1988, following a jury trial, defendant was convicted of delivery of less than 50 grams of cocaine, MCL 333.7401(1) and (2)(a)(iv); MSA 14.15(7401)(1) and (2)(a)(iv), and delivery of 50 or more, but less than 225 grams of cocaine, MCL 333.7401(1) and (2)(a)(iii); MSA 14.15(7401)(1) and (2)(a)(iii). On April 22, 1988, defendant was sentenced to one to twenty years imprisonment and life probation, respectively. Defendant appeals as of right...
