DABNEY, J.

A jury found Robert Dean Harlan guilty of committing a lewd act with a child under 14 (Pen. Code, § 288, subd. (a))1 and found that he had engaged in substantial sexual conduct (§ 1203.066, subd. (a)(8)). He was sentenced to state prison for the middle term of six years.
