This case was heard pursuant to the provisions of section 7443A(b) of the Internal Revenue Code and Rules 180, 181, and 182.1 Respondent determined a deficiency in petitioner's 1985 Federal income tax in the amount of $4,421.53. The sole issue for decision is whether petitioner is entitled to deduct alimony payments in excess of those allowed by respondent...
