Stevie Rochelle, Theodis Rochelle, and Cecil Copelin were indicted for first degree murder. The three defendants were tried together, with Don Reid of Gainesville representing Copelin and Stevie Rochelle, and the Office of the Public Defender for the Eighth Judicial Circuit representing Theodis Rochelle.
