On the afternoon of March 17, 1985, a group of hikers in Tomkins Cove, New York, discovered the skeletonized remains of a 20-to-30-year-old man, clad only in a black leather bondage mask. The victim was subsequently identified as missing Norwegian fashion student Eigil Dag Vesti, last seen by friends shortly after midnight on February 23, 1985.
