Brooks, chief assistant district attorney for the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit, appeals from a private reprimand given to her by the Disciplinary Commission of the Alabama State Bar.1 The Disciplinary Commission found that Ms. Brooks had violated Disciplinary Rules 7-107(A)(4) and 7-107(A)(6) of the Code of Professional Responsibility by making an extra-judicial statement on October 13, 1988, to a television reporter...
