On April 8, 1981, the body of Clyde Grazier was pulled from the Allegheny River. The pathologist's opinion was that he had been killed by blunt force trauma and manual strangulation. On January 4, 1988, Guy Grazier, a nephew of the deceased, was charged with the murder of his uncle. On June 24, 1988, a jury found Guy Grazier guilty of murder of the first degree.
