After George Ryan S. was convicted of the murder of his wife, a dispute concerning the custody of their child arose among the grandparents.1 The Circuit Court of Mingo County terminated the parental rights of George Ryan S. and awarded joint custody of the child to the maternal and paternal grandparents.
