SPALLONE, J.

The defendant appeals his conviction, after a jury trial, of the crime of possession of narcotics in violation of General Statutes § 21a-279 (a). He claims that the trial court erred in denying his motions to suppress statements elicited by the police in violation of his constitutional rights. We find no error.
