As set forth in the concurring opinion, the search of Coleman's purse did not amount to a search of her person.1 The search was permissible as a search of a container in which items specified in the warrant might be found.2

Because the search of Coleman's purse was not a search of her person, there is no need to consider Ybarra v Illinois,
