After being discharged by respondent employer, claimant filed for unemployment compensation benefits with the ESC effective 24 January 1988. Employer responded that claimant was disqualified because he was discharged for misconduct. An adjudicator of the ESC concluded on 12 February 1988 that claimant was not discharged because of misconduct or substantial fault connected with his work pursuant to G.S. sec. 96-14(2) or (2A).
