Defendant, Richard Nunez, was convicted of bringing contraband into a State penal institution (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1987, ch. 38, par. 31A-1.1) and sentenced to one year of probation, with 120 days to be served in the Livingston County jail. A recoupment order of $875 was entered under section 113-3.1 of the Code of Criminal Procedure of 1963 (Code), to be deducted from his $1,500 bond...
