PALLADINO, Judge.

Joan Gray (Mrs. Gray) and City of Philadelphia Police Department (City) each appeal from a post-trial order of the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia County (trial court) which granted City a new trial. We reverse.

Mrs. Gray was injured in a car accident when her vehicle collided with patrol car driven by a City police officer (officer) responding to an emergency call. Mrs. Gray alleged that officer negligently drove through a red light...
