Richard Siekawitch was hired by Washington Beef Producers, Inc., of Yakima in 1979. His employment was terminated in 1984. He then brought this action against Washington Beef for wrongful termination. At trial Washington Beef moved for a directed verdict on the issue of liability. The court granted the motion with respect to the theories of express and implied contract; however, it submitted to the jury the issue of whether the company
