In this personal injury action, Peggy Henderson, the plaintiff, received a jury verdict of $75,000 for actual damages. The trial judge granted the defendants' motions for a judgment non obstante veredicto on the grounds that the evidence was insufficient to support the jury's verdict. The Court of Appeals affirmed.
