The defendant appeals from the judgment of conviction, rendered after a trial to the court, for the sale of cocaine by a person who is not drug-dependent in violation of General Statutes § 21a-278 (b). The defendant challenges the trial court's determination that there was sufficient evidence for conviction and its drawing of adverse inferences from the defendant's failure to produce certain witnesses.
