Stanley and Elaine Bugno (plaintiffs) brought a medical malpractice action against Mt. Sinai Hospital Medical Center (Mt. Sinai) and Dr. Prahled Pyati for injuries sustained by Stanley as a result of Mt. Sinai's and Dr. Pyati's negligent treatment of his leg fracture.
