Defendant herein was convicted, following a jury trial, of the gunpoint robbery of a prostitute. In that regard, there is no merit to his claim that the evidence does not support the verdict. The discovery of the victim's straw purse, as well as a gun, inside the vehicle in which defendant was riding, a short distance from the scene of the crime and shortly after the robbery occurred, tended to corroborate the complainant's account...
