William Giles, James Tolar, John Bosetti, and Francis Butler (appellants)1 are police officers from the City of Pittsburgh who were involved in obtaining and executing a search warrant. The officers forcibly entered a home owned by Mary and Louis Lancie (appellees), arrested Albert Stevenson, the subject of their investigation, and searched the floor of the house where Stevenson was found.
