Plaintiff-appellant, James Stanley Sibert, and his wife, Cheryl Lynn Sibert, appeal from a judgment of the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas directing a verdict on their intentional tort claim in favor of defendant-appellee, city of Columbus, at the close of plaintiffs' case. The following is advanced as the single assignment of error:

"The trial court erred in granting the city a directed verdict on plaintiffs' intentional tort claim...
