This is an appeal from an order denying a petition to strike and/or open a default judgment. We affirm.

On January 29, 1987, Kevin Ray (Ray) was a passenger in an uninsured motor vehicle when it was allegedly struck in the rear by a Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) bus.
