The defendant, Thelbert E. Moye, was charged in a substitute information with sexual assault in the first degree and kidnapping in the first degree. He was convicted, by a jury, of sexual assault in the third degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-72a1 and of kidnapping in the first degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-92 (a) (2) (A).2<...
