GREEN, A.C.J.

William M. Hamilton, an attorney, was charged with 11 counts of first degree theft and 1 count of second degree theft of money from the estate of John Stratton. He claims his use of the moneys had been authorized by Mr. Stratton prior to his death. The State moved in limine to prevent Mr. Hamilton from testifying regarding conversations he had with Mr. Stratton:
