Defendant, Daniel Adams, was indicted in the circuit court of Du Page County on one count of criminal sexual assault (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1987, ch. 38, par. 12-13(a)(3)), and following defendant's plea of guilty, the court sentenced him to three years' imprisonment on December 2, 1987.
