JURISDICTION

Defendant Ronnie Lloyd Conner was convicted of first degree murder and armed burglary. At his first sentencing, he was sentenced to death for the murder and to ten and one-half years for the burglary. After further proceedings in the trial court, including a plea agreement involving these and other charges, he was resentenced and received life imprisonment on the murder count.
