The defendant appeals from the judgment of conviction, after a jury trial, of the crime of sexual assault in the first degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-70. The defendant claims that (1) the rape shield statute, General Statutes § 54-86f, is unconstitutional, (2) the trial court should have admitted evidence of other complaints of sexual assault made by the victim, and (3) the state should not have been permitted to file a substitute...
