The defendant appeals from his judgment of conviction, after a trial by jury, of one count of robbery in the third degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-136. The jury acquitted the defendant of a second count of robbery in the third degree. On appeal, the defendant claims that the trial court should not have refused to give an instruction on the defense of renunciation and that it should not have admitted into evidence a knife and a holster...
