Jagadish Panchal, Jitendra Panchal, and Kishor Joshi appeal their convictions on three narcotics counts relating to a conspiracy to import and distribute in excess of 1,000 kilograms of hashish. The Panchals claim that the district court deprived them of the right to an impartial jury by permitting the trial to be bifurcated.
