A jury found Charles William Hayes guilty on four counts of being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(1) and four counts of making false statements in connection with the acquisition of a firearm with intent to deceive a licensed firearms dealer in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 922(a)(6).
