Mr. Finstad sued Montana Power Company (MPC) in the Ninth Judicial District Court, Glacier County, alleging a violation of the implied covenant of good faith and fair dealing in his termination or constructive discharge. The District Court denied MPC's motions for a directed verdict which were made at the close of the plaintiff's case-in-chief and at the conclusion of all testimony.
