Accrual of the liability of a Workers' Compensation insurer for permanent partial disability benefits to an injured worker is the nub of this lawsuit. Defendant insurer, National Farmers Union Property and Casualty Insurance contends that if the death of the worker from a cause unrelated to his injuries intervenes before the permanent partial disability benefits are fully paid, its liability for the unpaid benefits terminates on the date of death...
