Defendant, David Rose, was indicted on two counts of aggravated battery under sections 12-4(a) and 12-4(b)(10) of the Criminal Code of 1961 (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1987, ch. 38, pars. 12-4(a), (b)(10)) and found guilty of both counts.
