On March 29, 1990, the United States indicted defendants Willie Lee Dixon, Aubrey Bernard Brown, Clarence Mann Hawkins, and Billy Carmen O'Dell for attempted bank robbery in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 2113(a), and for the use of a firearm during a crime of violence in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 924(c).
