The defendant in this action had been charged with three counts of First Degree Murder, in what was alleged to be serial killings. The autopsies of victims revealed that in two cases the victim had been struck in the head with a cylindrical object, such as a hammer, had been strangled, had suffered ligature marks on the wrists and ankles, had suffered injuries to the nipples from a pinching-type tool, such as pliers or a vise-grip...
