SULLIVAN, Judge.

Quanardel Latez Wells (Wells) appeals his conviction for battery, a class C felony. We affirm.

The facts disclose that in the early morning hours of April 19, 1987, Corey Thomas and several other friends were walking home from a skating rink in Indianapolis.
