WALDMAN, District Judge.

On November 28, 1986, plaintiff's decedent-husband was fatally injured when he was struck by an uninsured motorist. After recovering $610,000 of uninsured motorist benefits under a primary policy issued by the Aetna Casualty and Surety Company ("Aetna"), plaintiff commenced this action seeking an additional $2,000,000 under an excess insurance policy issued by defendant Sea Insurance Company, Ltd.
