After carefully reviewing the petition, the record, and the briefs, we conclude that the writ of certiorari is due to be quashed as having been improvidently granted. In quashing the writ, however, we do not wish to be understood as agreeing with the reasoning of the Court of Civil Appeals concerning the applicability of Ex parte St. Regis Corp.,
