In this case, a jury returned a verdict for plaintiff Robert P. Barrett on his theory that the defendant Asarco, Inc. breached the implied covenant of good faith and fair dealing in the employment relationship. The District Court denied Asarco's motions for directed verdict, judgment notwithstanding the verdict, and new trial and entered its judgment in accordance with the jury's verdict. Asarco appeals...
