Respondent Deborah K. Alpers (mother) has filed in this court a motion to stay the trial court's order changing custody, pending disposition of her appeal of the order on the merits. The trial court denied mother's motion. See SCRA 1986, 12-207. The issue before us is whether the trial court erred in denying a stay of the custody order.
