This appeal is from a judgment rendered by the Circuit Court of Russell County quieting title to a tract of land in favor of Arthur Chatman, Jr. T.J. Jackson claimed title to a portion of the land through a tax deed. The questions presented are whether Jackson's tax deed gave him a valid interest in the property and, if not, whether he is entitled to reimbursement from Chatman or Chatman's predecessors in title of the taxes he paid on the property...
