Appellant was convicted by a jury of theft of an aggregate amount over $750 and under $20,000. The jury assessed punishment at eight (8) years in the Texas Department of Corrections and a $5,000 fine. The Court of Appeals affirmed in an unpublished opinion. Onumonu v.
