The defendant, Larry Nixon, was charged by bill of information with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, in violation of LSA-R.S. 40:967 A (1). He pled not guilty and filed a motion to suppress. After a hearing, the trial court denied the defendant's motion to suppress. Pursuant to State v. Crosby, 338 So.2d 584 (La.1976), the defendant withdrew his plea of not guilty and pled guilty as charged...
