PER CURIAM.

The issue in this case is whether a civil service commission's jurisdiction has been invoked under section 143.010(b) of the Texas Local Government Code if a fire fighter's or police officer's notice of appeal fails to allege the basis of the appeal. We hold that a civil service commission's jurisdiction is not invoked unless a fire fighter or police officer files a notice of appeal with the commission within ten days after the occurrence of the action...
