James Greer (defendant) was charged by bill of information with four counts of sexual battery. La.R.S. 14:43.1. After initially pleading not guilty, he changed his plea to not guilty and not guilty by reason of insanity. He proceeded to trial; but, after the jury was selected, he pled guilty to Counts 1, 2, and 4 under the provisions of North Carolina v. Alford, 400 U.S. 25, 91 S.Ct. 160, 27 L.Ed.2d 162 (1970...
